How to Get an Appointment
We use an appointments based system.
We arrange date and time slots for both visits and works, with our electricians arriving to start the visit or start the work within the time slot arranged.
To make an appointment please contact the Office, contact details and a contact form can be found on the Contact page of this website.
We have a standard policy to make contact with the client if for any reason we cannot arrive within the booked time slot.
We will only request to rearrange your booked appointment slot in unavoidable and exceptional circumstances and always make contact to do so.
Booked slots can be cancelled by clients free of charge if done so with at least 24 hours notice, any slots cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a cancellation fee, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Booking confirmations are sent via email, and in special circumstances can be submitted by Royal Mail post where email use is not available to the client.
Booked appointments are chargeable;
Our terms and conditions for work bookings are supplied with our booking confirmations.
Visits for estimates can be also be arranged and are free within our local area; so long as no tools come out of the van; as soon as tools come out the visit becomes chargeable.
Our head electrician does all visits and estimating, as they work on the tools and are not dedicated to only estimating they have limited time slots for visits and limited time to go into the office for estimating therefore estimates can take up to 14 working days to be submitted (though this is subject to both decrease and increase at any time - please check lead times when requesting an estimate).
Visits out-with our local area will only be offered for free if we are already booked to be in the area.
We politely ask you please ensure to carefully read the booking email you receive.
If it does not specify it is a visit only then you will be charged, per our terms and conditions, for the attendance.
Please ensure to check spam or junk folders when awaiting your confirmation email.
Please Note: There are some items which we cannot do a free estimate visit for, and have to class as chargeable works, this is as using an electrician's time to have them attend at a site / address and advise a client what is wrong with an electrical item is classed as chargeable investigation time as it utilises the qualified electrician's time and knowledge.
